Help With Kids' Ministries

There is a huge need for 1st and 2nd grade teachers as well as teachers for 3 & 4 year olds. Please pray for where God might have you serve. Contact the church office for more information.

Cuban Mission Prayer Vigil

While our team is on the mission trip from June 27 - July 6 we want to cover them with our prayers. There is a sign-up sheet in the gathering area for you to select a day that you will remember them and pray for them. This can be done wherever you are: at home, work, vacation, etc. This is a way that everyone can participate in this exciting venture! The team is counting on us who remain behind to uphold them with our prayers while they are away. Won't you join us?

The Big Gift

Thank you to everyone who helped make our first Big Gift a success. We have started helping another person in our congregation who is in need of financial assistance to help with her medical insurance and medicines as a 5x cancer survivor struggling with the outcome of bone cancer and the disability that it brought with it. A family in our congregation has donated a truck for a family looking for transportation. If you are in need of this or any additional help, please contact Mark Gerberich at 330.329.7394.

Kids' Sports Camp 2008

Sign your kids up now for a week of fun and fitness. The camp runs 9 am - 3 pm July 14 - 18 and is open to kids ages 8 - 15.}

SonWorld Adventure Park VBS

Come enter SonWorld Adventure Park, where kids will discover that choosing Jesus is the ticker to the best ride of their lives and helps kids learn to make right choices in a world of options. It's here at MZUMC the week of July 21st! At this theme park, there's no height requirement, the lines are short and everyone gets a good view of the parade. But hold onto your hats, because it's sure to be a life-changing ride! "Choose this day whom you will serve." Joshua 24:15 There will be an Overview Meeting May 20 at 7:00 pm downstairs in room 8. Habitat For Humanity

Fill a Suitcase for Cuba

This month we are collecting dispoable razors, Vick's Vapor Rub, and cloth diapers. Each month we will be picking a different item to collect to bring to our friends in Christ in Cuba.

Youth Mission Trip 2008

The Youth are heading to South Carolina, June 15-20. A deposit of $50 is needed to reserve your spot for this life-changing event. The total cost is $219. For more details, please contact Steve Nuzzo. Note the recent change in location.

E.D.E.N. Eve - Wednesdays at 6:00 pm

E~vangelism D~iscipleship E~ducation N~urture E.D.E.N. Eve is an opportunity for MZUMC to come together and grow together in our faith. There will be opportunities for Adults, Youth, and Children. It all starts with dinner at 6:00 PM.

Current classes include: Disciple Bible Study I, Doable Evangelism, The 11th Commandment, Cuba 2008 Mission Team Building.
