Children's Program

Jesus said to let the little children come to him. Here at Montrose Zion, we try to help our children come to Christ. We offer a wide variety of fun yet educational ministries for children all week long. A child’s personality and worldviews are completely formed for the rest of his or her life by the time childhood is over. This is why it’s so important to nurture young children in the faith. 9:00 am Children’s Church

Everyone gathers together in the Worship Center. After the "Children’s Sermon," Preschoolers – 5th graders are invited to attend "Junior Church" – an engaging worship experience for children in Rm. 104 (Harmony Harbor).

10:00 am Children’s Sunday School

At Montrose Zion, we have set up our Children's Sunday School using the "Rotation Model". Each week, children experience the Bible story in a new way by rotating to a different classroom. Classrooms include: Fishes & Loaves (Cooking), Harmony Harbor (Music), Rainbow Room (Crafts) and Whale of a Tale Theater (Drama).

11:00 am Children’s Church

Following the children’s sermon in worship at both 9:00 and 11:00, the children will be dismissed to participate in children’s church where your child can learn and worship in a way designed especially for their age group. We have also expanded the 11:00 Children’s Church hour to four classes: Pre-K: Preschool Room, K/1: Fishes and Loaves, 2/3: Harmony Harbor, 4/5: Rainbow Room. 9:00 remains 1 class in Harmony Harbor.

Beginning February 7, we are starting a new Junior Church class just for Preschoolers!

Nursery care is available at each hour on Sunday mornings.
