About Us

We are so glad you decided to visit us and would like to tell you about some of the exciting things going on at Montrose Zion. We have an outstanding music program, a dynamic youth program, and a growing preschool ministry. Additionally there are Small Group Bible studies offered at various times during the days/evenings AND one of our new programs, EDEN Eve (Education, Discipline, Evangelism, & Nurture) is on Wednesday evenings beginning at 6:00 pm. EDEN Eve is an evening planned for the entire family, beginning with a meal at 6:00 pm, followed by study classes for adults AND music rehearsals for children and a Youth group session for Junior and Senior High students. It is truly a fulfilling evening and is highly recommended for the entire family.

We have a new children’s program in place where children will attend the 9:00 or 11:00 worship service with their parents, hear a children’s sermon designed for them, and then can be dismissed and accompanied to Sunday School. We have created four different rooms where children are divided by age groups and will spend one week at a station and then rotate to another the following week.

We’re looking for volunteers who have music, art, cooking, drama, or anyone who simply enjoys working with children. The church is growing, and we have many different opportunities for adult volunteers who wish to get involved with others by working in the office, joining a committee or being a member of the many services the church offers to the congregation and to the public. Montrose Zion has something for everyone here, and if you choose to simply attend church, meet our friendly greeters before the service, and enjoy being a part of this wonderful family, we are very glad to have you. Recognizing the presence of God in our lives by worshiping Him, spreading His word as a family, and surrounding yourself with friends and those you love are all rewards of His unconditional love for us.
